My husband didn't think we needed one of these because we have ion purifiers in our A/C units. But I convinced him because I thought it would help with cooking odors. I cook fish frequently and also use a lot of spices, and the smells tend to linger for a day or two. I set up the FreshAir Surround in the family room, which is the most central spot of the first floor. I turned it on and let it go to work. When my husband came home later that day, he remarked that the house smelled fresh. Since I've had it, we don't have a problem with the cooking odors lasting for days. In fact, there is no smell at all. It does what the ion purifiers in the A/C/ couldn't do. And I really like the fresh smell...like after a rainfall. We also have two dogs and you would never know it from smell alone.
An additional plus is that the unit looks really nice--in any decor--and it is a quality made product. I would definitely recommend.
Really happy with how this unit performs, set it and forget it. Should have remembered to check the
filter though. After a year (really) thought to check the filter, very loaded up with lint but the purifier
was still working anyway!

My father purchased one just like this unit in 2000. He pad approx $150 more for exact unit. I've love how fresh my hone smells because of the unit. I recently married and the Ill home needs a bit freshening. Home smelt fresher in 2 days. AMAZING UNIT!!! I highly recommend this unit.

all I can say is that the amount of dust and pollen in our house has dramatically decreased. It has also has removed any odors that we had in the house as well. This would be a great product for anyone who has allergies

My daughter was diagnosed with allergies years ago and the Doctor wanted me to give her medicine everyday. I did not want to do that. So I started looking for a natural way to control it. I found this air purifier and I love it. Her problems have gone down tremendously. And there is no odor in my house! I used to have cats inside and you could always smell cat liter no matter how clean you kept the cat litter box but with the air purifier you can not smell the cat liter.
